PRESENTERS for New zealand

(More to come)

Steph Neal is a Physiotherapist, Pilates Instructor, and founder of The Pilates HQ App with 15+ years’ experience.

Starting with 'Beyond The Burn: Building Strength, Not Just Endurance, in Pilates', discover how to create classes that develop real strength, helping clients move beyond simply chasing the burn.

Her second incredible workshop 'Designing Reformer Classes for Stronger Aging Adults', is where you will learn practical strategies to confidently program engaging, effective Reformer classes that support strength, longevity, and independence as clients age.

With years of experience educating Pilates professionals, where she has taken her skills and knowledge all overseas, Kira-Leigh Rule is bringing her expertise to The Expo with Anatomy Academy: Injury Modification Training.

This practical session will help you build the confidence to adapt exercises for common injuries, deepen your understanding of anatomy in practice, and make informed programming decisions that keep clients moving safely and effectively.

Join California native and Balanced Body Educator Kim West as she brings together the best of classical and contemporary Pilates in her workshop, Contrology Meets Contemporary: Mat Edition.

Having studied under second-generation practitioners in Los Angeles, Seattle, and New York, Kim now mentors Pilates teachers around the world while delivering education throughout New Zealand.

In this session, you'll discover practical ways to integrate traditional mat work into contemporary classes, helping clients develop strength, control, mobility, and movement capacity – without slowing the pace of your classes.

We are delighted to welcome Abbey Parsons to the New Zealand Pilates Expo.

Abbey will be presenting Tame Your Teaser: Break it down. Build it up. A workshop designed to demystify one of Pilates' most iconic movements through clear progressions, practical strategies, and purposeful programming.

Whether you're looking to refine your own practice or expand your teaching toolkit, this session will provide the knowledge and confidence to approach the Teaser with greater precision and control.

Sam Sales is the creator of Reformer Yin, Senior Teacher Trainer for Barre Body, and Head Teacher at Bende Studios in Byron Bay. Her passion for movement, education and the body's incredible ability to heal has inspired hundreds of instructors across Australia and beyond.

She will be presenting Reformer Yin – a unique approach that blends the philosophy of Yin Yoga with the Pilates reformer to create space for restoration, connection and deeper body awareness.
